Jimenez's work consists of large-scale paintings and works on paper. Integral to the imagery is a dialog about curved lines, organic forms and mechanical imagery often resolving in monochromatic explosions of conflict. Space and balance dictate the framework. Compositions are completed on canvas, eucaboard, hard plywood, paper or other media. The use of paint, pencil, ink, gesso or varnish enable a broad mark making vocabulary and allow for a range of unexpected outcomes.
